Hello beauties,
Why do we need so many concealers if we only have two eyes? I find myself asking this question many times, but then there’s a launch of a new concealer or I’m curious to see how another one is! See? Justification! Because of that my collection has been growing and growing.
A few weeks ago, Joana wrote a post about her concealer collection and today is my turn! I have a big collection, let me tell you. Some I love- the ones I use practically every day – and others I don’t reach for it – I’m probably going to donate or throw out.
But let’s check one by one, starting from my favorites to my not-so-favorites, shall we?
Too Faced Born this Way Concealer
Lately, this has been my favorite concealer. I’ve been reaching for it almost every day. It doesn’t crease, doesn’t make my fine lines more visible and it has the perfect amount of coverage for me. Although I have to warn you that this is a little dry.

Benefit Boi-ing Concealers
My collection of Boi-ing concealer is big because I have not one, nor two but three. The Airbrush concealer was the first one but I don’t use it anymore. It makes my fine lines so visible and my skin very dry – it gives me more ten years on photos. I’m going to give it away.

Then I bought the Brightening concealer, but after one hour my under eye skin looks and feels so dry. But I still love the brightening effect and the fact that this product has a peach color that makes my dark circles much less visible. My solution was to use the boi-ing hydrating concealer before. These two were made to use together, let me tell you! Alone, the hydrating concealer has not enough coverage, unless you don’t need it. But when using with the brightening concealer, it stays perfectly.

Sephora Collection Brightening Concealer
I really like this concealer. This one used to be in my bag so I could use it on the days that I didn’t have the time to do my makeup at home or when I needed a touch-up. I liked it so much that it is all used. I’m going to repurchase this, for sure. It doesn’t crease and stays beautifully all day. oh and the price is pretty good too ($14.00) for a lot of product!

Maybelline Anti-Age Concealer
When I saw this product in the store, I didn’t think twice and bought it. A lot of people swears by it. I try to reach for it more times, to see if there’s something that I didn’t saw and that makes everybody love it, but I don’t. It gives me such a yellow tone to my skin. The good thing is that it doesn’t crease and it doesn’t dry too much my skin. It has ingredients that on a long-term will make wonders to the skin, so maybe that’s the beauty on this.

Shiseido Sheer Eye Zone Corrector
This product was a gift by Joana. It is a great brightening product but the coverage is minimal. It doesn’t dry the skin. I use it just when I want a brightening skin effect. When I use a heavy foundation that covers my dark under eyes, I reach for this ‘concealer’ just to brighten up the under eyes.

Estee Lauder Double Wear Concealer
I don’t reach for this concealer. It’s not that I don’t like it, but I don’t love it for sure. I think this doesn’t do much to my dark under eyes. I use two layers and even then I can see my dark under eyes. I’m probably the only person that doesn’t love this concealer.

Douglas Illumating and Correcting Stick
I used this product a lot, so much that this is the second package that I bought. What I liked the most is the color, it has a peach color, perfect to correct that dark on the under eyes. I don’t reach for it anymore and I’m probably going to give this to my sister. But a year ago, this was my jam!
