[Makeup Revolution] Conceal & Define Concealer | Hit or Miss??

Hello beauties,

Did you read the post where I talk about my concealer collection? (here) I mentioned that I had a new concealer that I was trying at the time, remember? Well, here it is, my review of the raved and most talked concealer, the Makeup Revolution Conceal & Define concealer.

This is a highly and raved product in all the beauty community, since the famous Tarte concealer.

A lot of people say that this is a dupe from that one, but I don’t think so. For me, this one is better. And I’m one of the persons that really like the Tarte shape tape concealer.

Makeup Revolution did a great job, releasing 25 shades from the fair to the deep shade with different undertones.

This concealer is cruelty-free and also vegan.

The package is simple and beautiful. Transparent and metallic pink. With a large doe foot applicator to allow a smooth application that won’t drag on the skin.

Application mode

This concealer is full-coverage, yet lightweight, so a little goes a long way. It won’t settle or accentuate the pores and the fine lines.

So you just need:
• Apply a few dots under the eyes
• Blend using a damp sponge or a synthetic brush

• In the blemishes or dark spots apply one dot

• Blend using the sponge, brush or the fingers

• You can build if necessary.

This is also a multi-tasking concealer, because you can also use it to do the technique of contour.
To do that:
• Dot a concealer that is 2-3 shades darker than your skin, around the perimeters of your face, in the hollows of the cheekbones and wherever you want to contour
• Blend with a synthetic brush or a sponge.

You don’t need to worry about the longevity because it will last all day with the intense pigment that it has.

Final thoughts

I love this concealer. It’s in my top two along the Estee Lauder Double Wear concealer.
I usually reach more the Double Wear because when I bought the Makeup Revolution it was only available one shade for sale, which was the C6, and that’s not exactly my shade – it has the wrong undertone for my skin tone. So, it doesn’t give me the brightening effect that I like.
But putting that apart, I use it a lot, and it doesn’t cake or flake, and still, smooth all day without accentuating the riddles and the dark circles.

I absolutely recommend this concealer, for everything and much more.

And let’s be real and talk about €$: it only costs €4.99 or $7.00 and if you want it, you can buy it here.

The only con that maybe I can say, at least in my perspective, is the fact that the doe foot applicator doesn’t go all the way in the tube, making a lot of lost product in the end. That is something that I have to wait and see if my fear is valid or not. I will update you on that topic.

Do you have this concealer? Tell me your experience, especially in this last topic that I talked about. And while you’re here, tell me what is your favorite concealer?
