Too Faced | Dark Chocolate bronzer

Hello beauties,

When we started this blog our goal was to share beauty experiences with our readers. We love makeup, skincare and everything that’s related to beauty. And because of that, my favorite posts are the ones where I can share a tip or when I find a product that’s so good that I can’t wait to share with you guys!

That’s what happened when I tried the Too Faced Dark Chocolate bronzer.

This year I had so much care, always using 50+ photoprotection in my face that my body turned two tones darker than my face (Can you relate to this?). It’s a big contrast and easily repaired with a foundation a little darker than the habitual. But the problem is that I don’t like to use Foundation every day!

The solution is simple: Bronzer!! Although I have 99 bronzers at home I like to try new products and see which one is the best.

In winter I prefer a bronzer with cool tones but in summer I love a good warm tone bronzer and that’s the reason why I tried the Dark Chocolate bronzer by Too Faced.

Honestly, I only tried it because of a Sephora employee advice it to me.

I never thought that I would like this bronzer because my skin is fair and I really thought the Dark Chocolate was for médium/dark tones.

But that’s not true! The dark chocolate has a beautiful color, it gives you a warm beautiful bronze look. It has a warm pink tone and looks like a natural bronze. It looks like you took a well-deserved vacation on a beach!

Even if you think that you applied too much, it blends so easily.

I like to apply just a little bit (really just a little bit) in my cheeks and with the rest that stays in the brush, I make a 3 motion in my face (forehead, cheeks, and lower jaw bone). You can even apply just a little bit in the neck and nose for a sun-kissed look.

This product was definitely a surprise because I never thought it would fit in my skin tone, but it turned out to be my secret to a bronzed skin.

The dark chocolate bronzer is part of the natural collection and it’s also available in the shade Milk Chocolate (the lightest one), Chocolate (that I will definitely check it out for the winter) and Dark Chocolate. Each one costs $30.

What’s your secret to match your face skin with your body skin color in Summer? And what’s your favorite product from Too Faced?

  1. An attention-grabbing discussion is worth comment. I think that you must write more on this subject, it may not be a taboo topic however typically persons are not sufficient to speak on such topics. To the next. Cheers
