MONN ORGANIC IN ME // NEW BRAND & SKINCARE ROUTINE

Hello beauties,

Today I bring you a new brand (at least for me) that was introduced to me on Instagram – Monn skincare.

Monn is a 100% vegan, handmade that is inspired by natural ingredients. Their philosophy is to provide you with 100% natural products, but also to educate about safer lifestyle choices and healthier options for yourself and the environment.

 

‘Every ingredient that we include in our products is there for a specific therapeutic reason. We hand-make our products in small batches to maximize freshness and effectiveness without or less the use of chemicals and with safety preservatives’.

This brand is originally based in Michigan, USA but presently is located in Bangkok, Thailand (a country we’ll know by its skincare rituals with natural products).

When I was contacted by Monn Organic to try the products, I was super excited because a) I love to try products and b) even better when they are natural (my skin always thanks me).

I will start with my favorite product: the Restorative Serum.

 

RESTORATIVE SEA BERRY + FRUIT SEEDS

Ingredients: Calendula Officinalis Oil, Vitis Vinifera Seed Oil, Prunus Armenian Oil, Argania spinosa Oil, Hippophae Rhamnoides berry oil, Rosa Mosqueta Seed Oil, Citrus Aurantium Dulcis (Peel) Oil, Lavandula Angustifolia Oil, Pogostemon Cablin Oil, Rosmarinus officinalis Oil, Tocopheryl Acetate (E-400 IU)

 

Because this is majorly produced with natural oils, the scent is strong. But it’s very pleasant and relaxing (some oil scents have properties that relax and fight against anxiety). I like to apply three drops in my hand and then massage it on my face in ascending movements. Is like having a spa at home!

This serum has a consistency that reminds me more an oil than a serum and the first impression is that this is an oil. But after a couple of minutes on the skin, this product is totally absorbed, not leaving that oily feeling that some oil products leave.

I have combo/oily skin and I’ve been using this serum/oil for three weeks almost every night and I like it (a lot)! 

Do I see differences in my fine lines? No, I don’t. But I do feel my skin smoother and moisturized.

 

The second product that I tried was the Natural Face Soap.

Green Tea + Earth’s Clay

First, the scent is divine. I really like the smell this leaves in my entire bathroom when I use it. I also like how small it is because it’s perfect to pack. And I also don’t like big soaps because after some time they can create mold and bacterias. Although this is a small soap, can be used in a reasonable number of times.

It contains Earth’s Clay that is known to be an absorbent, used to remove oil from the skin.
