BOUDDI BODY | ORIGINAL BALM // New Australian Brand

Hello beauties,

These Social Media are great if you want to know brands or products that you didn’t know about – it’s a fact. If you like beauty and are constantly looking for new products (like me) then Instagram is probably the best platform for you.

Recently, I found a new brand on Instagram – Bouddi Body! This Australian brand is very passionate about their products and vision. They use recyclable packaging, compostable postage bags, and carbon neutral shipping to minimize the footprint.

This was the reason why I was very curious about this brand. I love brands that fight for nature, or wouldn’t be their motto ‘Beauty for a Beautiful World‘. But I also like the fact that their products have many uses (hair, skin & nails). How cool is that?!

Today I will talk about one of Bouddi Body’s products, the Original Balm.

‘Bouddi Body’s Original Balm brings nature’s goodness to your skin, hair, and nails. A solid creamy texture fragrance-free balm that warms with the heat of your skin to be a true top to the bottom solution to your sad skin needs’ (Bouddi Body)

The Original Balm is made without nasty sulfates, parabéns or drying alcohols. It’s also vegan-friendly and as I said it’s Australian made & owned.

But where can you use it?

  • All over your skin, to rehydrating, re-plumping tired skin. You can also use as a night cream.
  • Around the eyes, for fine lines
  • Lips, to plump and soft lips.
  • Hair, to battle the effects of dandruff, promote quicker growth, thicker and stronger hair. It’s also good to lock moisture and hydrate brittle ends.
  • Lash/brow, to grow and promote thicker, fuller lashes & brows without the use of synthetic or harmful chemicals.

This balm has all of these benefits because of its ingredients, that are rich antioxidants, vitamins, and essential fatty acids. Let’s see the list (with the common names)

Ingredients: Shea butter, Cocoa Butter, Avocado Oil, Castor Oil, Coconut Oil, Jojoba Oil, Glyceryl Caprylate. Glyceryl Undecylenate.

I really like this product, not only because of all the reasons that I already talked about but because it works. I’m not against synthetic products but if we can have the same results and skip them, then why not? The natural is always better!

I have been using it on my most dry areas, like my elbows and heels. I see such a difference!

Elbows – Before/After

I also like to use it as a night cream (once a week) and when I wake up, my skin looks incredible. A little goes a long way and it may seem that you need to apply a little more but remember that, when the lip balm is in contact with the warmth of your skin, the product becomes more spreadable. A little goes a long way…

Lately, I’ve been using it like an under eye cream and, I do feel that my under eye skin less dry. I still have to try it on my lashes because I’m curious to see the result.

When I use this on my lips, I do feel them plumped and really nice before applying a lipstick.

This still didn’t happen to me, but if you buy this product and after some time your balm is a little grainy, don’t worry, It’s normal, and you can use the butter beads to lightly buff and massage your skin, promoting skin cell rejuvenation as they melt into the skin.

If all the Bouddi Body’s products are as good as this, then I foresee a great success in the future. If you are curious, check their website, here.

(note- this is not an ad, sponsored and does not contain any affiliate link. Bouddi Body’s send to us the products for us to try and give our honest opinion, when and where we liked. Thank you Bouddi Body).

What is your go-to product? If you know of any other use for this balm that I did not mention, tell me in the comments.
