A few weeks ago, I received some samples with a Sephora’s purchase. One of those samples was the Egg Mellow Cream from Too Cool For School.
This moisturizer is from a Korean brand that by now is well know by us here in the blog. I already mentioned some masks from this brand and by coincidence, the last one here was about a mask from this range.
The yellow range is used to fight against dryness, loss of firmness/elasticity and dullness/uneven texture.
Right now, my skin is nor dry but I do suffer from other problems (some dullness, uneven texture and a firmess cream never did wrong to anyone no matter the age).
My type of skin is more to the combination/sometimes oily side but I like to use a moisturizing mask (once a week) and a moisturizing cream, for my skin type (every day), so I thought that this cream would be great for me.
‘A highly enriched, five-in-one firming moisturizer infused with collagen for younger-looking skin’ (Too Cool For School)
According to the information provided, this firming moisturizer works as a serum, priming moisturizer, eye cream, neck cream, and sleeping mask in one. Talk about a five-in-one!
It’s highly enriched with egg yolk extract, albumen (egg white) extract, and Inka omega oil to provide intensive nourishment to the skin. It is also infused with collagen fiber to support the appearance of more elastic skin.
I don’t know if you remember but when I tried the mask, the combination of Egg yolk extract and oils were strange to me but I loved the mask and the effects that it gave to my skin. So I was very excited to try this cream.
This cream has the exact same smell as the mask, which I loved that time and I still do. I could use this cream even if it did not do anything, just because of the smell just so you can see how good it is (to me).
Luckily, this product not only has a good smell but it also Works!
I started to use it at night, as a night cream, and the thing that I immediately noticed was that I never woke up with oily skin the next day, which often happens with some moisturizing creams.
Because of this, I can attest that besides being a good cream for dry skin, this product can also be used on the combo (and dare I say oily skin). Every time I use this cream, I wake up with smooth skin and I also noticed some improvements in the skin texture.
But for me, the best way to use this product is definitely as an eye cream. Since I use this cream for this purpose, I noticed that my fine lines in the eyes are much less visible and, I also noticed that the concealer doesn’t accumulate so much. The skin looks tighter and the dryness under the eyes improved 80%!
I’m ending my last sample but I will definitely go to buy this cream to use as an eye cream and sometimes as a sleeping mask.
Have you tried this cream? Or some product from this range? Let me know in the comments what do you think.
