Simple refreshing facial wash (Alert Dupe!!)

Hello beauties,

Today I bring you a product that I started using a few months ago and that surprised me by the positive. I am talking about Simple’s Refreshing facial wash.

I’ve always heard good things about this product but I was a little skeptical because the last cleansing gel I used was the Youth to the People Kale + Green tea Spinach Vitamins and I have to tell you that this was a hard product to beat. That said, I don’t think the Simple Refreshing facial wash outperforms the … but I think it’s a good dupe! Let’s face it, the package brings much more quantity of the product and the price is much (much) more friendly!

Although in the package say it is a gel for normal to oily skin, I think it can be used for all skin types, even the most sensitive. It is a noncomedogenic, hypoallergenic product that does not contain artificial perfumes or colors, or harsh chemicals that can upset the skin. No alcohol, no parabens and also no animal-derived ingredients.

According to the information on the packaging …

‘For best results … apply a handful of gel to your hands and spread until foamy. massage into wet skin then rinses with water. If in contact with eyes, rinse thoroughly with water’.

It contains:

  • Vitamins: Provitamin B5 and Vitamin E.
  • No perfume, no artificial colors or aggressive chemicals that may harm the skin.

I have been using this cleansing gel daily with my Foreo and have enjoyed it a lot. What I like most is the feeling of clean skin and the fact that it doesn’t leave me a tight feeling that some cleansing gels tend to leave. This is not a gel that forms a lot of foam but the right amount when you use the Foreo. My only complaint is that I tend to use a lot of product because of that – I don’t know why but I like to see foam when I clean my skin. But let me assure you that if you are not crazy like me, I little go a long way.

I’m currently with a few breakouts on my chin area and this cleansing gel didn’t aggravate the situation, I can’t say that it helped but I can assure you that’s not worse – probably because it doesn’t have fragrance or harsh ingredients (my biggest enemy when it comes to breakouts).

The packaging is pretty simple but easy to open, I also like the fact that the tube allows me to use every single drop of product.

Overall this is a good product and a good dupe for the Youth to the People Kale face wash if you don’t want to spend too much money. I don’t know if the Simple face wash in long term will be benefic as the Youth to the People  (probably not) but it does its job very well!

Right now I’m very hyped on trying more Simple products,  I heard good things about their masks and also their cleansing gel with clay.

Let me know in the comments which Simple product is your favorite, so I can try it.
