This month, Yves Rocher reformulated one of its best-selling makeup remover and added some new products to the Pur Bleuet line!
First, let’s talk about the makeup removers that were ‘reformulated’ – there are two- the Express Eye Makeup Remover and the Gentle Makeup Remover. While the Express Eye Makeup Remover has a biphasic formula that eliminates the most stubborn makeup, while protecting eyelashes, the Gentle Makeup remover is more delicate and perfect for those who wear contacts or have very sensitive eyes.
I like both products, and I’ve been using both in the old formulas for several years, I have to say that my favorite is the Express and I use it whenever I remove a waterproof mascara or eye glitter. It can be used every day and it’s very sensitive, perfect for those who like me have sensitive eyes.
I honestly don’t notice any difference between the new and the old formula and I suspect that they only remade the packaging. But I can be wrong…
As for the new additions, they have two – the Soothing Cornflower Floral Water and the Eye Care.
The Soothing Cornflower Floral water, is a spray that helps to soothe, revive and refresh tired eyes. To use, just spray a cotton and apply with light taps on the eyelids and chats under the eyes, in the morning and at night.
The Eye Care moisturizes & reduces the puffiness in the eyes. To use, just apply in the morning and at night around the eyes.
I’ve been using The Eye Care for the past week and I must say that I’m really enjoying it. I love the metallic applicator which helps massage the product and reduce puffiness due to the cold of the metal! The formula is light, like a gel-water and it’s well absorbed. I notice the area more hydrated and as for the puffiness, I don’t have much to say because my problem is and always will be the dark circles. I notice yes, that the area looks more rested.
Is important to say that all products in this line have cornflowers, which have soothing and protective properties. Cornflowers are grown in France in Organic Farming and 30 tons of cornflowers are harvested every year! The 100% natural extraction process of centaurea’s assents maintains all its soothing and protective virtues. It is noteworthy that all the products in this line contain more than 99% of ingredients of natural origin. WOW
