GlamGlow Lip care

Hello Beauties

I don’t know if you are like me, but I just remember to take care of some parts of my body when I feel the need. And my lips are an example of one of these parts of the body.

I have been with my lips dry, and the use of a mask is not helping. I think that is making it worst. And I have to say that a problem with masks is the fact, that we tend to forget about them because they are covered.

Another problem with my lips is that they are small and thin, and with age, they are getting thinner. I don’t have money to take care of it, and I saw some pictures of people that made me scared of ending up with ugly lips. As I said, I saw some bad jobs after injecting hyaluronic acid, so I want to try something non-surgical.

I googled, and these GlamGlow products were in the results. Both products looked appealing, and with good opinions so, I decided to give them a try.

Today I’m going to talk about two products that I bought, the GlamGlow Plumprageous Gloss Lip Treatment and the GlamGlow Poutmud Fizzy Lip Exfoliating Treatment.

Let’s start with the first step in my lip care routine and start to talk about the GlamGlow Poutmud Fizzy Lip Exfoliating Treatment.

The Glamglow Poutmud Fizzy Lip Exfoliating Treatment like the name indicates is a lip exfoliating that gives the result, of smoother, pumped, and renewed lips.

This exfoliator is indulged, in Caribbean cane sugar, Hawaiian sea salt, and hibiscus flower powder. It has a sweet taste and a delicate scent. Both are nice.

To obtain the best results it should be applied, in two parts. First, you apply a generous amount with the fingers, massaging for a couple of seconds, to do a pre-exfoliation. After that, massages again with water to activate the reiteration effect. Rinse off with warm water. This treatment you can do 2-3 times per week.

When you apply the water, you should feel fizzing, but I barely noticed it. I did feel something, but not as hard as I was expecting to feel. Maybe it’s a case of expectation versus reality.

Have you tried this product? Do you usually feel the fizzing, or was it a problem with my lips?

The packaging, as usual, for GlamGlow is bombastic and super colorful.

Now the second purchased was the GlamGlow Plumprageous Gloss Lip Treatment.

After treating my dry lips, I want to try to do something for the thin lips. Let’s be honest right now I’m not using as much of this product. Because, with a mask, I’m not going to waste the product. But for the sake of this post, I gave it a couple of tries.

The GlamGlow Plumprageous Gloss Lip Treatment is a lip gloss that gives the effect of fuller and voluminous lips when applied.

The main ingredients of this lip gloss are:

  • Spearmint leaf oil, to stimulate the blood flow and increase the lip size;
  • Hyaluronic acid, to hydrate the lips;
  • Vitamin C, to protect the lips against free radical damage.

You can use this product as its own to volumize the lips but also under lipstick because it plumps the lips but also leave them smoother, being the best base for the lipstick.

It has a glossy texture, as the name indicates but is not like glue, like some of the other glosses that I tried.

The tingling effect is not as strong as I was expecting. In the beginning, instead, you just feel it. But after a while, you start to feel the burn, not strong enough that you can´t handle it, but you feel your lips burning and hot. We already did a review on this blog of a product like this, the Too faced Lip Injection Extreme (here), and in terms of tingling, the Too Faced is much more strong. In terms of effect, I can’t say which one is the best. I think that if we talk about immediate effect, the Too Faced is more noticeable, but at long term I think I found more results with this one.

By the images, which one do you think gives more volume to the lips?

Do you like these types of posts? When we talk about products that are not new on the market but are discoveries for us. I hope it can help you and your lips.
