O Boticário Intense. makeup [first impressions]

Hello beauties,

On today’s post I’m going to talk about some Intense. products, the makeup line from O Boticário. It’s been a while since I tried so many products at the same time and I have to say that lately, I’m not using a lot of makeup. My makeup routine has been a concealer, eyeliner (on a good day) and a chopstick for dry lips with SPF (religiously!).
I could blame the work, and the fact that I’ve been waking up so early to work but the truth is that I don’t have the energy or the patience to be preoccupied if my facemask is showing makeup. And it’s so good to let the skin breath from time to time, but also to be back at home and don’t worry about taking layers and layers of makeup.

But this doesn’t mean that I don’t like to use makeup, because I still have days where I want and apply all the makeup that I deserve!

And today is one of those days because today’s post, like I said, is all about makeup. In the beginning of the month, I bought some makeup – more than I needed – from the brand O Boticário.

Intense makeup

This brand sells skincare and makeup – Intense is the name of the makeup. O Boticário has some of the best products when it comes to scents, they are from another world and I’m a big fan of all of their body creams!

Last month, O Boticário launched a new limited line from Manu Gavassi, a branzilian celebrity. I’m Portuguese and in Portugal she’s not well known, so I have to say that what called my attention about this line were the products!

Without no more delays let me show you what I bought and what I think about each product.

From the Manu Gavassi line I bought the Eye Pencil and the Blush Stick.

Eye Pencil in Uvinha Artística : I love this eye pencil! It’s so easy to apply and the color is beautiful. They called it a grape color but to me is more a beet color. You can use it as an eyeliner or you can dab a little with a pencil or your finger to a Smokey effect. Love it!
Blush Stick in Coral : I bought the darkest color and I’m glad because I found it not to dark for me. It has a pretty pink color with a touch of coral. It reminds me the Nars Orgasm blush color but without the sparkle. It’s easy to apply (I was a really afraid because I’m not the biggest fan of blush sticks) and it lasted a lot of time on my skin (even with a mask). I’m still thinking if a I love it or not. I’m going to try it again and I will let you know.
Liquid Eyeliner in Black : I love this product! And I’m very glad that I bought it. I’m always afraid with these kind of eyeliners but I found it really easy to apply and I achieved a good acceptable result in the first use. I really advice it. The pencil grab the perfect amount of product making it easily to control what you are doing.
Eye pencil in Marrom : this is the product that I liked least. The color is not as pigmented as I liked and after a couple of minutes my eyes started burning a little. It has good things, like the fact that is really soft, making it good for a smokey eye.

All of these products are vegan, enriched with vitamins and the papel used in the packaging are 100% recycled.

As always let us know what are your favorite product and if you have any question don’t be afraid and write us a comment. We love to know what are your thoughts.
