Hello beauties,

The weather is weird, it’s cold one day and then the other is hot. This has an effect on my skin. And I feel that I had to give it special attention last month. I have to say that I’m very happy with the products I’ve been using and that I found some gems that I think I will use for a lot of time. 

While there are a few new products in my routine, I have to say that I’ve been reaching for some products that I talked about before on the blog.

I hope that you like this type of post because I’m so excited with spring weather and I’m hoping to share many new exciting products in more posts!

As always, keep in mind that this is my opinion, and what works for one person does not always work for the other!

CHARLOTTE TILBURY // PILLOW TALK LIPSTICK

If you have been with us since the beginning, I wanted to try this lipstick. I’ve seen so many people with it and it looks gorgeous on every skin tone, I had to know if it was as beautiful as it looks. Unfortunately, this brand is not available in Portugal, so I had to wait. I had luck because on Joana’s last trip to Amsterdam, she bought me one! 

The color was not what I was expecting! It’s a little more peachy and light than I expected, but I love it! The matte formula is amazing, it never completely dries and the lips stays hydrated for hours. Now I want to try all the Pillow Talk products….

SAND & SKY // POREFINING FACE MASK

I talked about this mask (here) and I’m still in love with it. Like I said I have oily skin, and I love to do this mask on weekends, when I feel that I need a deep cleansing of all the dirt and oil of the week. When I use his mask, my skin immediately looks calmer, the breakouts look less inflamed and the skin feels and looks clean. Love it. If you are curious about it, check here. EUCERIN // HYALURON FILLER CONCENTRATE / VITAMIN C BOOSTER / LIP ACTIVE

I’ve been using these three products and I can’t say what’s my favorite. The Hyaluron Filler Concentrate is a product that increases the benefits of every day or night cream Eucerin Hyaluron-Filler, that way I use it before my beloved Hyaluron Filler night cream. A little goes a long way because you only need an ampoule for a week. This ampoule Fills, stimulates and protects the skin, while neutralizing the aging process.

Vitamin C booster is an anti-aging serum that contains vitamin C, a powerful antioxidant that neutralizes free radicals and strengthens the skin’s defense system. It is also essential for the production of collagen, helping to delay the appearance of signs of aging. I have been using this serum in the morning and to be honest I don’t feel the need to use a moisturizing cream next, maybe it’s because I have oily/mixed skin. I note some results, namely the skin is very moisturizing and luminous.

About active lip lipstick I have nothing to add, except to say that I use it every day in the morning before leaving home! Moisturizes the lips and has a protective factor, which is great!

MARTI DERM // PLATINUM NIGHT RENEW SERUM

I love marti derm’s fabric masks, so it’s no surprise that you also love this serum. I use it at night and interspersed with eucerin’s ampoules. This serum is perfect for oily or combination skin because it almost has a matte effect. The skin fully absorbs the product, the smell is pleasant and not very strong and you can use a moisturizing cream afterwards without waking up with super oily skin. This serum stimulates cell renewal and improves the firmness, elasticity and hydration of the skin, preventing the signs of aging.

NEUTROGENA // VISIBLY RENEW BODY CREAM

This cream smells wonderful and I have to tell you that it does the job! I have the one used on my belly and thighs and I notice a huge difference! The skin is smooth, firm, and my stretch marks look less prominent! I’m already going to my third package and I know I’ll continue to use it!

MARIO BADESCU // ROSE LIP BALM

I’ve wanted to tell you about this product for some time. I always had some curiosity about this brand and I decided to try this Lip Balm. I’ve been using it for a few months and I like it a lot. I use it at night as the last step in my skincare routine. I always wake up with my lips very healthy and ready for the day, I love that I can smell the light water of roses during application and sometimes still after a few hours. In my opinion it has a disadvantage, sometimes when I apply it, after some time I feel a slight irritation in my throat. The secret is not to apply a large layer, or I assure you that you will still wake up with lipstick on your lips.
