Red Carpet: How to reproduce celebrities’ makeup

Hello beauties,

We talked a lot about the latest red carpets and all about our favorite/less favorite looks, but today is time to talk about celebrities’ makeup on the red carpet!

After two years at home, we noticed some changes in the makeup they are choosing for these type of events: if before the idea was to match the makeup with the dress, the shoes and even the bag, now the trend is to match the makeup with the nails and even with the hair!

If you remember, Oscar winner actress Jessica Chastain was the epitome of Glamour with a Gucci dress in the latest Oscars event. She showed perfectly how to match the eyeshadow and lipstick color with hair color, using different shades of orange/salmon in the look.

Actress Sydney Sweeney showed us something that we have been noticing – celebrities have been opting for lighter and more radiant skin! That heavy matte skin is a thing of the past and now we want glowy skin! And how do we achieve that? With a lighter foundation and the concealer + powder combo applied punctually on some blemishes and oilier areas of the skin. Simple, right?

On the red carpet and runways the trend of the moment is to really go into eye makeup, going from monochrome gradients to the use of pearls, and other elements.

We also noticed that some celebrities like to match their chosen eye color with their lip color, while others prefer to highlight just one region!

If you like something simpler, you can always rely on the classic eyeliner that can go from a cat eye to a graphic line or even something more colorful! On the other hand, there’s also the glossy effect, which is perfect to enhance any look.

Important

To reproduce and be inspired by these makeups, there’s something very important: good skin preparation. For this, after the classic clean, moisturize and protect, choose a primer according to your skin’s needs.

The primer will improve skin texture and set makeup, making it stay intact and flawless for much longer. Remember that are different types of primers, according to the finishes. You can choose one that will illuminate the skin, minimize the size of pores, reduce the oil or moisturize. The list is big! And never forget to protect the skin, using a good SPF! In a few years, you are going to appreciate the protection you are giving today to your skin.

  1. Some celebrities like Doja Cat and Demi Lovato are like chameleons with makeup that goes from heavy to light and I love it! Surely the trend I like the most is natural glowing skin with minimum of foundation, but lots of skincare, it rejuvenates skin straight away.
