New! Coco & Eve Sweet Repair Repairing  & Restoring Hair Mask | Review |

Hello beauties,

When it comes to haircare we need to take advantage of all the new products that are packed with good ingredients. While a few years ago, haircare was just to damaged hair, now it can be prevented and repaired! It´s an honor to introduce to you the newest hair mask from Coco & Eve, the SWEET REPAIR, which takes hair masks to a whole new level. This hair mask claims to replenish hair cracks for a reduction in split ends and hair damage from first use, and we couldn’t be more excited to share our thoughts, yes, because we shared this hair mask between us two.

I think I speak for both when I say that we value a good hair mask and that’s a place where we can invest a little more, Joana because her mother is a hairdresser and she knows what’s good, and me (Rita) because I have dry and damagedhair.

This hair mask was gifted to us by Coco & Eve but the thoughts are our own.

The Sweet Repair Hair Mask retails for 34,50€ for 212 ml and its available at Coco & Eve (here) and other retailers, like Lookfantastic. This hair mask comes in a large plastic jar that’s very easy to open. It has a cute pink color, and the entire design is very girly, which we love. It’s less bulky than the Like a Virgin hair mask, so it’s a little more travel friendly.

The first thing you notice about this formula is how thick the product is. The second has to be the fragrance, which like the name says, is very sweet. It can be a little strong and sweet initially, but it fades quickly, and it stays beautifully in the hair even after you rinse it. The fragrance reminds me of a banana bubble gum, that I used to love when I was younger. I don’t mind fragrance in my haircare, on the contrary, I like them strongly.

This hair mask has a rich balmy texture (more than the Like a Virgin Hair Mask) that feels very nourishing, and it starts immediately taking action once you apply it. It doesn’t feel heavy or leaves the hair greasy. You need very little product to cover all your hair, but it all depends on the length of your hair.

It contains nutritious tropical ingredients & proteins, such as hyaluronic acid, avocado oil, coconut, and banana extract in a nourishing, vitamin-infused formula.

Shampoo as normal, then evenly distribute a generous amount of product to the length and ends of towel-dried hair, leave for 5 to 10 minutes then rinse with warm water. Use 1-2 times a week.

  • Biomimetic Ceramides: reinforces and smooths hair fibers with the integration of lipids. Strengthens resistance and allows hair to endure over time.
  • Vegan Keratin Complex: enhances elasticity, whilst keeping hair soft, full and glossy. Protects strands from heat and chemical damage.
  • Vitamin-rich Tropical Fruit complex: a combination of banana, avocado, guava, rambutan and coconut that deeply nourishes hair from root to tip.
  • Hyaluronic Acid:  boots moisture, softness, and hydration by tightening the cells of the hair cuticle. Increases hair volume and shine.

Here is the full ingredients list for this formula:

I went on vacation and took this hair mask with me. I forgot the shampoo, so I used what was available at the villa, which was a normal shampoo. I used the sweet repair mask and dried my hair with the Hairdryer available, which as you know it’s not always the best. I was expecting to look like Simba, from The Lion King.

My hair is very dry, damaged, and full of split ends, and if you see the photo that I took after a few hours after using this mask, you can see bouncy curls and hair that looks healthy! I could not believe how good my hair looked! I didn’t use the Steampod (which I always use, because my hair is very wild) and it looks gorgeous! I forgot to say that I also forgot to take with me a hair oil or some kind of hair product to use before using the hairdryer. So the photo shows my hair with a normal shampoo and the hair mask, just that!

No makeup, just using the Sweet Repair Hair Mask

This is a strong mask!

A few months ago, I reviewed the Like a Virgin Hair mask, also from Coco and Eve, and the question is, which one is better? The answer is both! They are used for different purposes. Our hair changes from month to month – or even week to week. Changes in season, your coloring and heat styling routine, beach holidays, and even your hormones can impact your hair. And as it changes, it needs different things. So, you’ll benefit from having both hair masks in your bathroom for all-year-round pampering.

While the Like a Virgin Hair Mask is perfect for daily moisturizing and maintenance, the Sweet Repair Hair Mask is perfect for deeply nourishing hair damaged by chemical treatments, or super brittle and dull strands.

If you asked me what’s my favorite, I have to say that the Sweet Repair does wonders for my damaged hair. It’s a little stronger, and perfect for my hair type, which is thick, curly, and damaged.

Before – After (using the Sweet Repair Hair Mask and the Steampod)

I HIGHLY RECOMMEND this hair mask! I don’t think I can emphasize how Amazing this formula is! It’s one of those formulas you have to try to believe! It is 100% WORTH the cost, totally vegan and cruelty-free, and I will continue to buy and have this mask in my collection!

If you are curious click here and find everything you need to know about this mask! This is the perfect month if you want to try this product because there are great promotions in the website, oh and don’t forget to always use the codes!

    1. It’s really good! I finished mine yesterday and I will order one today! Although I like the ‘Like a Virgin’ hair mask, I have to say that the ‘Sweet Repair’ hair mask is stronger and perfect to use on summer. If you have dry/thick hair like I do, you will love it! Let me know what you think!
