Bali Body Essentials | Bodycare Edition Review |

Hello beauties,

Bali Body is breaking into the bath essentials, and we are all for it! We’ve been long-time fans of their tanning range, and this entry into haircare and body care is a surprising extension to the brand. Why? Last month they launched the SPF sunscreen range (post here), and we were not expecting another launch so soon! But we are delighted.

Along with a shampoo, and a conditioner for dry hair, the brand has also released a variety of body treatments. Since it’s summer, we are being very hard on our skin by exposing it to heat, so we tend to take some care, especially using no harsh body washers, and an abundance of body lotions. We were so excited to see the release of these essentials, after all, they are so good in the tanning game, so they probably know our skin needs by heart.

Bali Body Essentials

Because we are two girls, we decided to divide the products, I (Rita) got the Bodycare products, while Joana stayed with the haircare products.

This review is sponsored by Bali Body but our thoughts are always honest.

The Bali Body Body Wash retails for 22.95€, and is available at Bali Body. The Body Wash is housed in a large nude-colored plastic bottle with a pump. This packaging screams clean! It’s not innovative, and we see it in some other brands but we love it! Most importantly, it serves the important function of controlling how much you dispense. The texture makes it easier to use in the bath, because it doesn’t easily slip from the hands. This packaging is also travel friendly.

Bali Body Essentials – Body Wash

An invigorating cleansing gel that gently banishes grime and provides an alternative to conventional soap.

Formulated with essential oils for a refreshing scent to kick-start your morning or refresh you after a long day. With a light and fresh texture, this body wash feels refreshing on the skin, without dropping the skin from the essential oils. On the contrary, the fact that it contains essential oils makes it a hydrating shower gel. I can feel the scent of rosemary but it’s not overwhelming, it’s fresh. The skin feels refreshed and smooth Throughout the day.

The Bali Body Body Scrub retails for 23.95€ and is available at Bali Body. The product is packed in a simple and clean plastic bottle with a convenient opening that allows the disperse of the wanted quantity of product. The opening also keeps the product sanitary and clean over time.

Bali Body Essentials – Body Scrub

A highly moisturizing blend with virgin coconut oil and Moroccan rose that leaves skin hydrated, soft, and lightly scented with coconut and rose petals. This body scrub has a lightweight texture that melts into the skin quickly. It contains soft particles of exfoliant, that feel like sugar on the skin. These particles are very soft, so I think even sensitive skin will appreciate this product. The skin feels instantly hydrating and smooth. After using this product I feel the oils that it contains, and the skin feels very hydrated, so smooth to the touch but not sticky.

I have some stubborn places in my skin that sometimes can look rough, like my elbows but mostly my knees, and this product has been a great help. This product is so hydrating that I don’t feel the need to use a body lotion/moisturizer after using it! I can feel the body oils on my skin for hours! When you open it, the first scent that you feel is the rose petals, and it’s amazing, not too strong, and pleasant.

INGREDIENTS: Sucrose, Caprylic/ Capric Triglyeride, Vits Winilera (Grape) Seed 0il, Silica, Prunus Amygdalus Dulcis (Sweel Almona) Di, Rosa Damascenea Flower Extract, Rosa Centifolia Flower Olil. asia, Fragrance (Parfum), Ricinus Communis (Castor) Seed Oi, Citronelo’, Geraniol*, Titanium Dioxide (C1 77891), Red 6 Lake (C1 15850).

  1. Use warm water. Allow it to run for 5-10 minutes to soften the skin.
  2. Apply the scrub in circular motions – start at your feet and move upwards. Maintain gentle pressure (don’t scrub to hard!).
  3. Rinse throughly.

The Bali Body Shower Oil retails for 25.95€ and is available at Bali Body. The product is packed in a simple and clean plastic bottle, like the rest of the products from this range. The opening is like the body scrub, and I wish it came with a pump. I think it would maintain the bottle clean over time, and it would allow a more convenient dispersal of the product. The opening can make a little mess if you don’t care. But if we get over it, I have to say that I love the clean image of all the bottles! The material is also nice, it’s a plastic that doesn’t slip easily from the hands, even when it’s wet.

Bali Body Essentials – Shower Oil

A nourishing body oil formulated to deliver a thorough but soothing cleanse. I love body oils, I’ve been mentioning some of my favorites from time to time, so I was excited to try this product. The texture is amazing, and it melts in the skin without leaving it oily. It feels refreshing but most importantly, the skin feels so smooth and has no stick. It has a silky finish making the skin plump and hydrated. The texture and formula play very well, which is incredibly important when it comes to shower oils. Can we talk about the scent? Because I love the scent of essential oils, it smells like a SPA in a forest, so chic and pleasant. I love the scent! It reminds me of one of my favorite body oils, Forest Therapy but at a more affordable price!

Vitis Vinifera (Grape) Seed Oil, Cocos Nucifera (Coconut) Oil, Olea Europaea (Olive) Fruit Oi, Simmondsia Chinensis (Jojoba) Seed Oil, Tocopherol, Glycine Soja (Soybean) Oil, Fragrance (Parfum), Citrus Aurantium Bergamia (Bergamot) Fruit Oil, Rosa Centifolia Flower Oi, Helianthus Annuus (Sunflower)SeedOil, Rosa Damascena Flower Extract, Chamomilla Recutita (Matricaria) Flower Extract, Citronellol, Geraniol, Limonene, Linalool

  1. Apply generous product to wet or dry skin in the shower.
  2. Massage all over body, focusing on any dry areas.
  3. Rinse off in shower.

Final thoughts

The name Essentials is perfect, first because this range consists of a set of essential products for any bath, and second because all products are made up of an incredible mixture of essential oils.

Bali Body Essentials – Body Scrub, Shower Oil and Body Wash

The body care products are designed for all skin types and they work incredibly well! If you have dry skin, you will notice a huge improvement in your skin texture over time! And if you have oily skin, these products will leave you with smooth skin, providing you the necessary hydration needed in every skin. Since I started using these products, my skin is looking smoother, youthful, and hydrated! And it shows!

Who doesn’t need the benefits of essential oils? We all want healthier, smoother skin, right? If you asked me what’s my favorite product, I’m very torn between the body scrub, because it’s delicate but does the job well, and the body oil, because I’m a fan of body oils.

The Essentials line also has a natural, aluminum free deodorant. You can find all the products here and if you pair products, you’ll receive a discount of 10%.
