I´m currently on vacation in the beautiful Algarve. My days are at the beach during the day and at night I love to contemplate beautiful views while dining. Always outside of the restaurant because it’s hot in here (and because, you know…Covid).
Algarve is known to be the IN place to be in summer. At night the dress code is a summer casual but chic!
I brought with me some goodies and essentials that in my opinion are what I need to shine while being casual on these types of summer nights.
In the middle of the things that I brought, it’s the Bali Body Body Highlighter illuminating and the Bali Body coconut lip balm.

Bali Body Body Highlighter
PRICE & PACKAGING
The Bali Body Body Body Highlighter retails for 23,95€ and it brings 100ml, available at Bali Body. The Body Highlighter is housed in a gold plastic bottle with a golden tap. This packaging is so chic and looks gorgeous on every countertop ! The packaging serves the important function of controlling how much we dispense. It is also very travel friendly.
FORMULA
The lightweight formula makes it easily absorbed and blends seamlessly into your skin to create the most flawless finish.
It can be applied to all parts of the body, including sensitive skin.
It is enriched with Aloe vera, grape seed oil, caffeine, Vitamin E, and Rosehip seed oil, which combined give deep hydration to the skin, but also nourish and firm the skin.
The Body Highlighter is also water resistant but to remove it, you just need to wash it with a bar of soap and water. Easy!
You can also use it on top of self tan for an all over illuminating tint. You can use the Body Highlighter on your face, however Bali Body suggests the Bronzing Serum which has specifically been designed for a bronzed face tint. HOW TO USE
Apply desired amount of hydrating body shimmer onto the skin & blend in with your hands or our Body Blending Brush in long sweeping motions
FINAL THOUGHTS
This highlighter works as a duo. It hydrates and also gives us that glowy bronze look, without looking like you are sweating.
After applying, it creates a blurred finish with a soft focus, looking like your skin has a glossy skin tint.
The best way to apply this product is using the Bali Body blending brush to have the best finish, but if you don’t have one, don’t worry, it is easy to blend using your hands, which is exactly what I do.
A bonus of this product that I tested is if it transfers to the clothes. I was afraid because in summer we use more white clothes, and we all know that this type of product leaves some traces behind. It’s not the case with this one, and I’m so happy with that.
I like this product, because it’s easy to use, and gives just a subtle glow, that shines with the strike of the sun or from the lights around you!
