Yves Rocher SEBO PURE VEGETAL CHARCOAL MASK [REVIEW]

Hello beauties,

It’s been a while since the last time I tried a new face mask. So taking advantage of the season sales, I decided to buy one of the new Yves Rocher launches: the Charcoal Mask from the Sebum Pure Végétal range.

This mask promises to clean the pores and reduce blackheads (ding ding ding)!

The Sebo Pure Végétal range is intended for oily to combination skin, and that’s noticeable if we analyze the list of ingredients (not bad at all, I dare to say) of this mask:

  • Kaolin: with a high absorbent power due to its composition rich in silica, aluminum and mineral salts, in addition to antiseptic properties. It is therefore used for the sebum absorption.
  • Charcoal Powder: also known as the ‘magnet for dirt’, it’s used to clean deeper inside the pore.
  • Salicylic Acid: used to remove dead skin, sebum and oil from the pores, ensuring new skin cells can thrive.

How to use: Apply 1 a 2 times a week on the face or on the T-zone in a thin layer. Leave to act for 5 minutes and then rinse.

My Opinion

I really like this mask. I dare to say that it is one of the best charcoal masks I ever used. I like the fact that the scent is not too strong and I don’t smell alcohol in it. The skin does not tighten when it dries and does not turn red when I remove the mask. And it does not leave my skin feeling dry, like usually these type of masks tend to leave, making the skin produce oil to compensate for the dryness.

The fact that you only have to leave it in the skin for 5 minutes is another advantage, because these type of masks usually requires at least 15/20 minutes to dry.

Now, the price! It costed me 6.95€ on sale, but Yves Rocher normally have the products with discounts all year!
