Remember our post about Lookfantastic Advent Calendar (post here). Well, today we bring you the review of one of the products that we received, the ESPA Clean & Green Detox Mask.
According to the the packaging, this is a skin nutrient mask to purify, balance and refine.
And since we’re talking about packaging, let me tell you that this heavy glass packaging screams luxury and money. The truth is that while I’m writing this, I’m trying to remember the exact price of this mask, but I know it was one of the most expensive products on the calendar. Not the most expensive, but it’s in the top five of the most expensive.
This packaging is perfect for any bathroom, its green color is adorable and the plastic lid imitating marble gives that luxurious touch!
According to the website:
“Reboot your radiance and give tired, dull complexions a dose of goodness with this veggie-inspired detox mask. As powerful as a smoothie for the skin, this creamy clay formula is packed with plant-based, nutrient-dense greens to help reset skin, creating a deep-cleansing action that refines the skins texture and helps keep the skin looking shine-free.”
- Vital Nutrients, such Omega + Essential Vitamin Complex
A healthy complexion-loving mix of Broccoli Seed Oil, Spirulina and extracts of Kale and Spinach provide a rich blend of vitamins, minerals and omegas
- Kaolin that helps detox the skin
How to use it:
- Smooth generously over face, neck and décolleté. Relax for 10 minutes before rinsing away with warm water.
Simple, right? I love masks that takes less than 10 minutes because I have a very busy life and I honestly don’t have much time to spend with masks. And relax.
The mask has a scent that it’s not new to me. It smells nature, natural and green. I think these are the three best works to describe it. It’s not strong, so if you don’t like strong scents, don’t worry, it’s a pleasant scent.
I do see some changes on the skin after using this mask consistently. The skin looks refresh and clean. I have acne prone skin, so I’m always afraid to use masks with naturals oils/ingredients but I didn’t notice any breakout after using this mask, on the contrary it really helped calming the skin.
This is the perfect mask to do on a weekend after a week using makeup or even if you don’t use makeup, to clean the skin of all that junk that tends to accumulate on the skin. I also used this mask after the festivities and you can’t imagine how it helped my skin after so many sweets and junk food that I ate.
It’s also fresh and sits comfortably on the skin without feeling dry. Overall the skin feels softer and smoother, while looking healthier and brighter.
The ESPA Clean & Green Detox Mask costs 47€ (Lookfantastic.com) and it brings 55ml.
